Mission
The Arlandria-Chirilagua Business Association’s mission is to promote prosperity and visibility of our members. We strive to embrace the diversity and vibrancy of our business community, and to serve as an advocate, representative, and educator for businesses within the community of Arlandria-Chirilagua in Alexandria, Virginia.
Goals
- Support the business community in Arlandria; engage businesses, organizations, and citizens.
- Collaborate on projects and events with other organizations and business associations.
- Plan business workshops, networking and community events.
- Promote economic sustainability and prosperity in Arlandria.
- Improve the aesthetics of Arlandria to beautify the area.
- Market Arlandria as a desirable place to visit, shop, dine, and enjoy.

Juan Nelson Zavaleta
Sea Tax Services
Born in San Salvador, El Salvador. He obtained a degree in Accounting and Business Administration at the University of Phoenix. Helped to build two Latino grocery stores for the church he congregated at. In 1997 he opened Sea Tax Services and Associates LLC and became its President. He’s been involved in a number of non-profit organizations, including CESE-DC, where he’s President and CEO, Unidos por El Salvador-Salvadoran United, where he is treasurer; and COTSA, where he serves as assistant secretary. What he likes about Arlandria is the diversity of cultures, its peaceful neighborhood and how the area has grown its business community and population.
